When Monteith's pioneers first came to the West Coast of New Zealand, there were no roads or sign posts to lead the way. Located by two bright stars called 'The Pointers', they used the Southern Cross to navigate their way in the search for gold.
A harmonious selection of 5 NZ aroma hops are showcased in this finely crafted pale ale. Following the upfront burst of tropical fruit, the layers of aroma and flavour open up to reveal mandarin and peach like notes on a foundation of smoothly blended wheat, ale and Munich malts. This is carefully balanced with a mild, crisp bitterness and lingering finish leaving you wanting more.
